Today was our first Horse Agility day held at Park Farm and it was real good fun ;D We had the most amazing obstacles to try our hands at - a bridge, a see-saw, a car wash, a tunnel not to mention barrels to jump, squeezes to do, tarps to stand on, umbrellas to play friendly with and a trailer to load in and out of. Oh and did I forget to mention a big yellow ambucopter that very kindly played approach and retreat - how did you manage to book that for us Claire and Chris??? The whole day gave you a real good chance to explore your relationship with your horse and to try out your horsemanship skills - fantastic!!! While I'm online can I just let everyone know that we are having an evening get together on Thursday at the yard. It will be a chance to all have a natter, drink coffee and eat biscuits - oh and talk about natural horsemanship of course!! Hope to see you there

Thanks for reminding me Charon, I forgot to put a mesage on here about the Thursday evening! Yesterday was a real success, well done to all who took part for our first official HA competition. Next one 22nd August. All results will go on the officail HA score board so keep practising your horsemanship. A big thanks to Chris for all of her help and hard work, building garden arches is not mine or Chris's thing and we stuggled through on Saturday managing to make the 3 we needed for our obstacles for the sunday comp, it was very funny and I hurt form laughing, I cant believe the arches actually looked like arches in the end, it was like the Krypton factor building them!! Lots of spectators made it fun, plenty of cheering was really encouraging for the participants. It was a super hot day and Im really looking forward to the next one, 22nd August. If you are interested in booking on to the next one please call or email me. £35 for HA members. None members can do one taster day for £5+ £35.Venue hire is £10 for none liveries. Look out for the new photos to come from yesterday too. See you soon Claire

Thanks to Claire and Chris for organising the first, (of many hopefully) HA days. You must have put a lot of time into all those new obstacles. Oh and thank you to Marcus too for all his hard work on various obstacles. Thank you to the weather for playing ball and last, but not least, thank you to Cathy for taking Foz through his paces and doing so well! Did anyone find out what that helecopter was trying to do? See you soon, Ina
